There’s this girl in my journalism class who always wears shirts with turtles on them. Not even stylish turtles. Like full-on cartoon sea turtles in sunglasses.

Her name’s Mia, and today she brought in cupcakes for no reason and gave everyone a sticker from her collection. Mine has a turtle holding a sword and says “Shell Yeah.” I laughed way too hard.

Mia’s kind of a weirdo. But like… the best kind. I think I want to be her friend.
